🚓 Multi‑Agency Vehicle Enforcement – Bradford East 🚕

Dear Resident,

On Wednesday 10 June, Neighbourhood Policing Bradford East (Team 1) worked alongside partners including Bradford Council’s Environmental Team, VOSA, Taxi Enforcement, the Highways Agency and the Steerside Team to carry out a vehicle enforcement operation.

The checks covered private vehicles, commercial vehicles and taxis, focusing on insurance, tax, MOTs and taxi licensing.

✅ Results included:

Taxi licence suspended due to expiry

Driver dealt with for no valid MOT

VOSA prohibitions for vehicle defects

Seat belt offence ticket issued

3 × Section 34 notices issued to waste carriers

Vehicle defect notice for headlamp issues

These joint operations help keep our roads safe and compliant for everyone.

👉More enforcement activity is planned in the coming months.
